This summer has been a busy one! And until I can blog each session, I thought I would share a quick recap of this summer's senior sessions and some of my favorite images so far from those sessions!

Brianna is one of my 2016 Senior models. I grabbed her one day a couple of weeks ago to head out into a field I had spotted for some summery photos...We also hit a few other areas while we were out and about:)
My group model session was TONS of fun! We went with a boho chic theme, which the girls loved planning for. I had an old chair that I set up in a field. My husband cut some bamboo poles for me (and got eat up with ticks of all sizes) to make a teepee. One of my models brought the area rug....I threw in some pillows and lanterns, and TADA! A hippy camp fit for any sisterhood! LOVED it! I have models this year from Gretna, Chatham, Westover, Dan River, Tunstall, and GW high schools. Included here are my models from Westover, Dan River, Tunstall, and GW. Look for a separate post coming soon of my Gretna and Chatham models. MUA: Katie Mosher, River City Salon and Spa in Danville.
Meet Abby, a GW senior...
Meet Sydney from Westover...and Emmalee, who is homeschooled.
Meet my junior model, Lindsay, from Tunstall!
Meet Brianna (Bri) from Dan River, and Lindsey from Westover!
Ohhhh how I love shots of laughter....
We went down to the creek for a few shots...and a cool down:) The girls enjoyed it!
These ladies are tons of fun to work with...we have since met for our first "Sweet Frog Social." It was nice to be together, especially since Lindsey (from Westover, pictured above) had just lost her Dad to a tragic incident. We all are keeping her and her family in our prayers. I am thankful for such a great group of models who def seem to come together when needed.
Look for more photos of these lovely ladies as their senior sessions approach! If you're hoping to get in on this year's calendar, please don't wait! Summer is almost full (I have some Aug availability). Fall is almost full as well. Use the contact tab at the top to reach me!
I look forward to hearing from you! Megan

Spring seems to finally be arriving, after what seemed like a never-ending winter! Florals are definitely among my favorites in current fashion trends. This week, Senior Style Guide shared outfits of the day with a floral theme. I loved them all and wanted to share them! Floral rompers are definitely on trend for this spring and summer...
Head on over to Senior Style Guide's blog HERE to view the other 2 outfits, as well as where you can purchase each piece!
Ahhh, I love florals! Happy Spring, everyone!
Stay Stylish, Megan
A rebrand was something that I knew I wanted for 2015. I just never knew how hard it would be or how long it would take!! It is now March, and as of today, I'm finally finished with the process. I want to thank Golden Fox Design for her hard work and patience:) I will continue to find ways to implement the elements that she came up with, but for now I'm just happy we're done!
Here's to a new look for 2015 and a prosperous 2016 senior season!
With that said, 2016 seniors, don't wait to book your session!
I love cards. And stationary. And paper products of all kinds really:) I love the convenience of text messages and FB messages, but I'm kinda old fashioned I guess because one of my favorite things is getting mail! So I recently came across this site, MINTED, and their products are AMAZING! So I thought I would blog about some of my favorites:) They offer just about everything, from cards to invitations to photo products! My favorite thing of all though is that they offer foil press. Foil press = shiny and ohhhhh I love shiny!
Getting married soon? Check out Minted's wedding invitations! There is quite the selection...and they have foil options too! This one jumped out at me since I've seen a lot of people go with a rustic theme that includes Mason jars.
This one has a Gatsby feel to it:) And it's foil.
And who doesn't love a good floral design:)
Let's move on to something unexpected. Um, ok, personalizable wrapping paper?! How amazing is that?! They have photo options too:)
There are art prints and wall art...and photo art!
There are framing options too! It's like they thought of IT ALL!
There are books that can be made into planners, address books, or just left as journals! I love this one:
Minted has seriously amazed me at all that they can do. So what are you waiting for?! Hop on over to their site and get started shopping for your next project or paper product! I'm certain you won't regret it!
My kids are my heart. Fall is my favorite season. Put them both together and the joy that fills my soul is endless! I took the kids out in our yard for some simple fall photos. I am rather pleased with them considering I had NO ASSISTANT! I want to share though, that right before we started, Ellie fell over on my mum!! It was so beautiful, but looks rather pitiful in the photos. I left it because I know that when I look back on these, I will always remember that moment!
Enjoy a few favorites from our fall photo fun:
Warms my heart and soul:) Happy Fall, Yall!
On October 4, MBP sponsored a Hair Donation Event at New Reflections Salon in Danville, VA. Stylist Candice Guill cut 10 heads that day, although she had already collected a few donations in the couple of weeks prior from generous clients:) Our area has experienced and continues to experience the effects of cancer. I know that the story of Claire Parker really hit home with me, as well as with MANY, including people across the country (such as Tara Mesyn who also recently led a hair donation event in her area in Michigan). And a little girl named Kiera has battled cancer, taken treatments in NY, and experienced hair loss. I know that there are others...I just felt led to donate my hair. I have always been vain when it comes to hair. I haven't had short hair since elementary school, so it certainly felt like a calling to do this--I certainly wouldn't have done it otherwise! My sister decided to join me, you will see photos of us and our cuts in the first board below. A total of 165" of hair was donated to CWHL, Children With Hair Loss. They will take the hair and make wigs for children in need, free of charge. What an organization! The minimum donation amount is 8" but most of the donors gave a little more than that! I gave 9"...and a couple of the ladies had such thick hair that theirs was split in half and became double donations!
Enjoy a few shots from the day...some from my camera, my phone, and some shot by my sister:)
These 2 ladies below donated prior to the event:
I would like to thank Candice Guill (pictured in 2nd board, pink shirt) for being such an amazing stylist and donating her services for the day. Thank you to all of the donors who came to the event, as well as those who donated prior. You all looked amazing...not a bad look in the bunch! Thank you to the Rustic Pearl (my sister's jewelry/crafts) for gifting a pair of earrings to each donor! I look forward to doing this event again in the future!
Ethan is one of my 2015 senior models and such a pleasure to be around! He is not only sweet, but an excellent student and captain of the Gretna High School football team. I am so blessed to have been able to work with Ethan and his family. Here are a few favorites from his senior session:
Thanks for being so awesome, Ethan! Best wishes on your senior year:)
Michaela is a 2015 senior at Jefferson Forest High. We had such a fun evening during her shoot around Chatham! Here are a few favorites from her senior photo session:
What a beauty! And such a fab session! Best wishes on your senior year, Michaela!
Kaitlyn asked me to shoot some headshots of her, and of course I'm more than happy to help out my senior models:) We enjoyed an evening in Chatham shooting them! Here are a few of my favorites from the day...and if you know me, you know that I can't just shoot only headshots:)
Unfortunately, Kaitlyn was in a car accident that kept her away during my Americana model session. So we had to do a few shots for that too:)
Isn't she gorgeous?!
